As a member of the creative team, the copywriter will write and edit content for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with Marketing and Communications Specialists and the design team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging. This role, and the ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and possess strong short form and long form written communication skills.
Responsibilities

Using the Company’s brand voice, write original, error-free copy, edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials and revise copy based on internal and business-owner feedback.

Interpret creative briefs to develop persuasive copy concepts for execution.

Research and understand the business needs and target audiences through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and in-person meetings.

Collaborate with Marketing and Communications Specialists and creative team from concept development to delivery of final product.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Communications, advertising or related discipline

3 years of professional copywriting experienceTechnical Skills and Knowledge

Exceptional writing and research skills

Strong proofreading skills and familiarity with standard style guides

Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking ability

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
