Digital Content Librarian - Public Library Collection Development
The Digital Content Librarian's responsibilities include selecting and promoting content to help partners build and showcase digital collections and increase content sales and usage.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team of Account Managers and Product Support Specialists to support collection development needs of libraries.

Create carts in OverDrive Marketplace upon request from a library staff member.

Curate collections to feature on digital library websites as requested by a library staff member.

Regularly create readers advisory lists in OverDrive Marketplace to maximize ordering and curation potential by partners.

Create opening collection carts for new accounts during the onboarding process.

Support sales campaigns and incentives to meet sales goals.

Analyze usage patterns, local demographics, publisher specials, and other factors for the purpose of suggesting high value content purchases.

Make title selections to be featured in OverDrive marketing materials.

Assist in the creation of content publications and webinars.

Track the success of lists and other projects using Google Analytics and sales reports.

Maintain relevant library data in Salesforce and other OverDrive databases.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent experience required.

Master’s Degree in Library Science (preferred).

2-3 years of related experience (i.e., public library/publishing).

French fluency.

Canadian library/publishing experience.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated initiative and creativity.

Knowledge of publishing trends.

Detail oriented with strong technical aptitude.

Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and objectives, meet timelines, and provide updates.
