Position Summary: 

The Swagelok Career Development Program is a challenging, accelerated leadership and development program designed to attract and develop leadership and technical talent in the areas of business through carefully orchestrated job rotations.  The program provides exposure and experience to a variety of areas for 3, 12-to-18-month rotations.   

The Commercial CDP role provides an overall understanding of the commercial strategy and the operational functions that support it.  Rotations will vary per associate, but can include product management, market management, sales support, engineering services, and marketing communications.  These business-critical assignments provide participants with broad, rich technical and business experiences to enable career growth.  The work experience will be supplemented with ongoing mentoring and developmental support from key management associates. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Build/ execute programs and initiatives that advance Swagelok’s commercial strategy and annual market/product plans. 
•    Adhere to position requirements as stated per the job description of the specific rotation assigned.
•    Lead and support small to mid-size projects and or programs
•    Review and analyze best practices to determine, recommend and or implement next steps.
•    Gain knowledge of key programs and policies that are critical to the business: 
•    Independently extracts and analyzes internal data and market intelligence to aid the product management, market management, sales          support, marketing communications, engineering services, and analytics. 
•    Gains understanding and engages with sales and service centers key programs and initiatives.
•    Identifies and drives continuous improvements opportunities within the commercial organization to enhance processes, procedures and      reports for the customer, channel, and business.
•    Engage with global team of colleagues to advance initiatives and drive collaboration.
•    Acquire leadership skills and training. 
•    Present end of rotation summary to key company leaders


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:
•    A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a 3.00
•    Intern, co-op or other relevant experience in a professional capacity 
•    Displays disciplined problem solving.
•    Excellent communicator.  
•    Accountability to own, manage, and advance projects
•    Has the ability and desire to lead others.  
•    Able to manage multiple priorities successfully in an organized and planned way.  
•    Works effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
•    A BS Degree in marketing or business administration

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
•    Physical requirements associated with normal office working environment. 
•    Ability to operate standard office equipment.
•    Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local      standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
•    Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
