SUMMARY
Oversees partnership agreements with tenants/social service providers at the GCFB’s Community Resource Center and maintains adequate building operations for day-to-day use of our neighbors, staff, and volunteers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; this list is not all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

Works with leadership to manage the day-to-day partnerships with social service organizations and other agencies who are co-located at the GCFB’s Community Resource Center and any other facilities leased or programmed by GCFB.

Work with leadership, communications and marketing staff to create monthly calendar and other strategies to help promote on site services.

Works with ED of CRC, Chief Programs Officer, and General Counsel to review and update lease agreements as needed. Ensures the execution of all lease and partnership agreements between GCFB and tenants/social service providers at the Community Resource Center AND with landlords who own space GCFB may rent. Provides exemplary customer service to partners.

Manage the internal and external conference room reservations at CRC in consultation with General Counsel for external reservations

Oversees the financial performance of the property. Maintain and control property income and expenses.

Works closely with the accounting/finance team at the Food Bank to ensure that tenants make timely payments.

Analyzes income, expenses, lease expirations, market rental rates, and makes recommendations as needed.

Working with operations leadership, supervises safety and risk-management of the GCFB Community Resource Center ensuring that neighbors, guests, volunteers, tenants, and staff are visiting and working in a safe environment

Keep records of all information related to projects for documentation, clarification, and presentation to community members, GCFB staff, and other stakeholders

Ensure that property and lease files are properly maintained and kept up to date in accordance with GCFB document retention policy. Prepares and maintains appropriate tenant lease files, records, and correspondence and file notes.

Effectively manage and enforce the requirements of lease agreements, restrictive covenants and other documents governing the properties.

Work with the facilities team to regularly inspect grounds, interior office space, warehouse, and common/office areas to ensure that all company standards, processes, and requirements are being followed.

Work with maintenance staff to ensure building is operational at all times, including regular follow-up with utility companies, ensuring supplies are ordered and stocked around the building, and that repairs are made in a timely fashion. Serve as the point of contact in the absence of facilities to direct contract to areas needing repair.

Responsible for handling all details for move-ins and move-outs with special attention to inspecting / documenting the space prior and post tenant occupancy.

Works with 3rd party janitorial staff to ensure tenants are provided with a clean, well-maintained facility.

Develop and maintain positive relationships. Provide GCFB leadership with a summary of operations, including variances to the budget, tenant issues, and maintenance projects.

Oversee the lease with warehouse tenants. Work with leadership to ensure warehouse tenants are upholding their lease agreement. Report any issues in a timely fashion.

Work with IT department to coordinate IT requests between partners/tenants and GCFB IT staff.

Actively support and champion initiatives aimed at driving continuous improvement throughout the organization. May participate in one of the following: LEAN council, a kaizen, 5S campaign or other process improvement efforts to support continuous improvement and improved processes within the food bank.

Research new business development opportunities, as appropriate.
