Donor Stewardship Director

The Donor Stewardship Director cultivates and maintains relationships with individual and corporate donors, overseeing the full life cycle of donor stewardship activities to ensure ongoing engagement and sustained financial support. This position plays a central role in fundraising: developing, nurturing, and managing mutually beneficial philanthropic relationships to strengthen the museum’s financial position and overall advancement strategy.
Salary Range: $68-75,000

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.

  • Experience: 5+ years of direct development/fundraising experience in a non-profit role, with a focus on donor relations and stewardship.

  • Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing and growing relationships with individual donors resulting in sustainable gifts

  • Preferred experience: Strong ability to identify and evaluate new fundraising opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategically pursuing relevant funding prospects.

  • Travel (local): Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's license.
