Job Description

As a Linux Administrator at Westfield, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our Linux environments and related technologies, including Red-Hat Linux Servers, Java application servers (Tomcat and WebSphere), F5 load balancers, Kubernetes Clusters (OpenShift), and more. Your responsibilities will span across the design and implementation of solutions, handling incident resolution, lifecycle event planning, and service request fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Linux Administrator.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Docker and Kubernetes (preferably OpenShift).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in managing and configuring Linux servers (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
  • Proficiency with shell scripting and automation technologies such as Puppet or Ansible.
  • Proficiency with building, managing, and deploying container images.
  • Proficiency deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters (preferably OpenShift).
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, firewalls, and load balancing (F5 Preferred).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Solar Winds, Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
  • Understanding of logging and analysis tools like ELK stack, Graylog, Fluentd, or Splunk.

  • Attention to detail and ability to document technical procedures effectively.

Location

Hybrid defined as three (3) or more days per week in the office.
