Senior Business Development Manager

SUMMARY
The Sr. Business Development Manager (Sr. BDM) is a seasoned sales professional responsible for driving revenue growth by leveraging the Sandler Selling System to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities. This role requires a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a professional services environment. Beyond the initial sale, the Sr. BDM serves as the account executive for assigned accounts, fostering long-term client relationships through strategic engagement and trust-building. This is a high-impact role with a competitive compensation structure, offering the posted base salary plus sales incentives.

?PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES? 
  • Business Development
    • Execute the Sandler Selling methodology to manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing.
    • Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and growth targets.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through strategic outreach and networking.
    • Conduct consultative discovery sessions to uncover client needs and align solutions effectively.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client objectives.
  • Account Executive
    • Maintain relationship, post agreement sign-off, to ensure a seamless transition and ongoing relationship.
    • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients through regular, meaningful interactions.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
    • Partner with internal teams to ensure client expectations are clearly communicated and met.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in CRM systems.
    • Provide regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and account health to leadership.
? KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS? 
  • 10 years of experience in a client-facing B2B sales role (inside or outside sales) with a proven track record, preferably in IT services or SaaS.
  • Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Proven?track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through consultative selling.
  • Strong familiarity with?the Sandler Selling System or equivalent sales methodology.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and the ability to adapt to an evolving environment
  • Ability to build and cultivate long-term client relationships
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with regards to the information processed, stored, or accessed on FIT or client networks and obtained through client relationships
 WORKING CONDITIONS + REQUIREMENTS? 
  • Local travel to different client meetings, conferences, or other events.?
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record with minimum one year of driving experience.??
  • Valid and current personal auto insurance policy.?
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.??
  • Occasional evening and weekend work for meetings or other events.??
