WovenSmart 1-Year Anniversary Party + Art Opening Featuring Michael Pomerantz & GiGI's

WovenSmart is turning one, and you’re invited to celebrate with us. Join us on Friday, December 5th from 5–8 PM for an evening of art, connection, and community.

This special event features an art opening by Cleveland artist Michael Pomerantz, whose atmospheric neighborhood scenes capture the mood, character, and hidden beauty of local streets through shadow, color, and a strong sense of place.

We are also showcasing photographs created by participants from GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center in Lakewood, submitted to the theme “What does the word ‘neighborhood’ mean to you?” Their work adds an authentic and heartfelt perspective to the exhibition.

Enjoy a make-and-take creative station, light bites, refreshments, and the chance to explore the gallery and studio. Whether you’ve been part of our journey from the beginning or are discovering WovenSmart for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, experience local art, and celebrate the creative spirit that has shaped our first year.

Disco music will keep the energy high as we look ahead to an inspiring second year.
