Description
Trans Dudes with Lady cancer is a short film documenting the journey of two transmasculine people, their family and communities, as they navigate breast cancer and ovarian cancer within the medical system. Prior to the film, we will have a networking hour to connect with folx in the community. We will view the film and have Q&A with the film makers. This event includes discussion to ensure mental health professionals understand the medical implications of transgender and gender non-conforming patients, educate professionals about how to socially interact in an affirming and helpful manner.
Light refreshments provided!
Free STI screenings will also be available during this event.
