The Witch of Pompadour Court: A New Musical

Description

Jacob Bremkamp is an Ohio composer, lyricist and playwright who will be receiving his Masters of Music in Composition this spring from the Cleveland State University School of Music. The Witch of Pompadour Court is an original musical he has been working on for the last year and a half as his thesis project for graduation. The show is a one act piece that depicts a fictional recluse Southern community who summon two con artist witch hunters for the purpose of holding a rigged trial against a young woman who is the town pariah. Things don't go as planned however, and when the witch hunters start to uncover the truth behind the accusations, events take an unforeseen turn.
