RETHINKING SEXUALITY
Sex Therapy is a specialized field that focuses on increasing sex positivity by enabling individuals to develop healthier viewpoints about who they are and what they want. This presentation provides an overview of sex therapy, the process of reshaping one's view of physical intimacy, and challenges individuals to open up to new explorations without shame. Matt will touch upon various topics within the field and how they can relate to you and your relationships.
About Matt:
Matt is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Cleveland Sex Therapy, LLC, located in Gordon Square on the west side of Cleveland, OH. Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baldwin Wallace College in 2011. He earned a Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Psychology in 2014 and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2015 from Georgia Southern University. Outside of running his private practice, which focuses on sex positivity, physical intimacy, inclusivity, and LGBTQ affirming therapy, he also works for the Cleveland Clinic?s external Employee Assistance Program, Lifestyle EAP. Matt has worked in a variety of setting supporting clients of varying ages and backgrounds. The goal of his practice is to decrease shame and promote a sex-positive environment to help his clients create more authentic lives for themselves.
