Infrastructure Support Engineer
SUMMARY
The Infrastructure Support Engineer ensures the stability and integrity of voice, data, video, and wireless network services. This position requires the skills to install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all infrastructure hardware, software, and communication links. In addition, the Infrastructure Support Engineer will participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of Windows server environments, both on-premises and cloud-hosted.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting various client environments remotely and occasionally onsite.

Processing a ticket and SLA driven workload.

Supporting and maintaining various Microsoft 365 tenants.
-
Supporting and maintaining on-premises and cloud-based environments.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
-
Experience with Windows Servers and Active Directory.
-
Experience with AzureAD and Intune/Endpoint Manager
-
Experience with on-premises Exchange and Office 365.
-
Experience working in a technical support environment.
-
Understanding and familiarity with IT policies and procedures.
-
Experience with cloud-based services, specifically Azure and Office 365.

Candidates with Microsoft certifications at the Associate or Expert level are strongly encouraged to apply. Relevant certifications may include:

Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity issues.

Experience registering domain names, configuring DNS records.

Ability to analyze, implement & support fixes/resolutions.

Ability to interface with all levels of the organization (technical and non-technical).

Excellent organizational, communication (written & verbal).

Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

A+, MCP, Network+, CCNA and/or MCSE certifications are desirable.

VMWare experience is desirable.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS + REQUIREMENTS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment and will require:

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

May require occasional evening and weekend work.
-
Occasional work weeks of more than 40 hours.

Ability to fulfill rotating, periodic 24/7 on-call responsibilities.

Ability to lift and carry IT hardware as needed.

Local travel to client sites as needed.
