Part-Time Bartender – Kiln | Van Aken District, Cleveland, OH
About Kiln Kiln is the latest restaurant from Edgewater Hospitality, the Cleveland-based restaurant group founded by James Beard Award–semifinalist Chef Douglas Katz and Todd Thompson. Set in the Van Aken District, Kiln offers an elevated, bistro-inspired atmosphere centered on regional classic shared plates, a thoughtfully curated wine program, and inventive craft cocktails. The Role We're seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable part-time bartender to join our team. You'll be behind the bar during dinner service, crafting our signature cocktails, guiding bartop guests through our menu and contributing to the warm, welcoming experience we're known for.
Hours Monday–Saturday, evening shifts (4pm–10pm). Sunday closed. We're looking for someone with availability 3-4 days per week. Weekend availability it required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and care
- Engage guests with confident, approachable knowledge of our drink and food menus
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area in compliance with health and safety standards
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
What We're Looking For
- Prior bartending experience in a full-service or upscale dining environment preferred
- Familiarity with craft cocktails and wine; interest in natural and regional wines a plus
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest connection
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting
