Attendees are suggested to arrive fifteen minutes early.
Location
The event will take place on the third floor of the University of Akron Student Union in the ballroom. Mr. Obergefell will begin his talk, moderated by Asst. Dean Brant T. Lee, at 5:00pm. I suggest attendees arrive 15 minutes early to get seats and check in. Mr. Obergefell will speak for roughly 1 hour - part of that will be a moderated Q&A.
Attendees should feel free to bring friends and family, we just ask that everyone who plans on attending completes the Microsoft Form and check-in upon arrival.

Description
On Tuesday, February 21, UA Law's Akron OutLaws student org. is hosting a conversation with Jim Obergefell, one of the named plaintiffs in Obergefell v. Hodges. Mr. Obergefell will recount his time before the Court, his subsequent political endeavors and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ rights, and his unique insight into the state of marriage equality in the wake of Dobbs v. Jackson Womens Health Organization and the Respect for Marriage Act.
