DANCECleveland aspires to be a national model for how a presenting organization serves its community, leveraging the world’s best modern and contemporary dance to inspire and educate audiences, local dancers, and community members.

Whether quietly elegant or wildly exuberant, DANCECleveland’s annual performance series at Playhouse Square contributes to the brightly colored mosaic of northeast Ohio’s extraordinarily rich cultural offerings. In addition to world-class performances, we offer engaging opportunities for residents of Northeast Ohio to experience modern dance through free classes, workshops, artist talks, and more, and since 2011, thousands of Cleveland and Lorain pre-K and kindergarteners have benefitted from our early childhood movement and literacy program, Read to Learn...Dance to Move.
