Plexus Connects: Intro to RFPs & Bids
Intro to RFPs & Bids is a hands-on session designed to demystify the procurement process for small business owners who are new to pursuing contract opportunities. This workshop takes a clear, supportive, and ?handholding? approach, walking participants through common terminology, key documents, and the overall process step by step. Attendees will learn the practical differences between an RFP and a bid, when each is used, and how to determine which opportunities are the right fit for their business. The session will also cover what businesses need in place before submitting an application, including registrations, certifications, pricing considerations, and internal readiness. By the end, participants will leave with a clearer roadmap for confidently evaluating and responding to RFPs and bids, reducing overwhelm and increasing their chances of success.
