DESCRIPTION:Joy Unshaken: Queer Youth Rising in Times of Distress" will be on display at Standing Rock Cultural Arts located at 300 N. Water St.\, with artwork created by local youth artists including paintings\, visual art with poetry\, collages/photo collages\, 3D art\, and photography.\n\nGSA Art Statement: Joy Unshaken: Queer Youth in Times of Distress highlights the\n\nresilience and creativity of local LGBTQ+ youth. Through art\, they bear witness to struggle while affirming joy\, identity\, and community as acts of resistance and hope. Even in times of distress\, queer youth hold onto joy. This exhibit is a reminder that creativity can be both a lifeline and a celebration an unshaken declaration of who they are and the futures they imagine.\n\nJoin them for a closing reception and open mic with refreshments Oct. 18\, 7-9pm!
