Listening Labs are a monthly inclusive interactive workshop that focuses on the mental wellbeing of business resource group (BRG) members while simultaneously collaborating with other BRGs to strengthen partnerships and community. GE Proud\, the LGBTQIA BRG\, is the host each month providing a space for team members to collaborate and share thoughts and feelings on specific topics. Each month GE Proud will collaborate with other BRGs across the organization during their commemorative months\, choosing topics that touch both BRGs. These Listening Labs give members a sense of belonging and community while giving them the ability to be heard and talk through emotions. These sessions also help to remove barriers and unconscious biases within and between BRGs.
